Bloonix is an open-source monitoring solution that provides real-time monitoring of your infrastructure, servers, and applications. This tutorial will guide you through the steps to install Bloonix on the latest version of Pop!_OS.
Before installing Bloonix, it is important to ensure that your system is up-to-date.
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
Next, you will need to install some packages required by Bloonix.
sudo apt install -y curl gnupg2 gnupg wget lsb-release ca-certificates software-properties-common
After installing required packages, run the following command to retrieve the GPG key to add the Bloonix repository to your system.
wget -O - https://bloonix-monitoring.org/repo/archive.key | sudo apt-key add -
Next, add the Bloonix repository to your system using the following command:
echo "deb http://bloonix-monitoring.org/repo stable main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/bloonix.list
Now that the repository is added, run the following command to install Bloonix:
sudo apt update && sudo apt install -y bloonix bloonix-agent bloonix-plugins-all
The installation of Bloonix also installs the web interface and the database.
By default, Bloonix listens on port 9000. You will need to open the port on the firewall to allow access to the web interface. Run the following command to allow access to port 9000.
sudo ufw allow 9000/tcp
Finally, start and enable the Bloonix services so that they start automatically after a system restart.
sudo systemctl start bloonix bloonix-webui bloonix-agent
sudo systemctl enable bloonix bloonix-webui bloonix-agent
You can now login to the Bloonix web interface using your preferred web browser.

Enter the default username bloonix and password bloonix123 to access the dashboard.
